07/12/2015 · The TEW-827DRU router I received is lacking features that I saw in the PCMag review. So I did some investigating. I now know that the PCMag review was of "Version v1.0R" of the TEW-827DRU router. That version is discontinued, and I got a Version v2.0R unit. Here's what v2 is lacking: it does not have StreamBoost™, no WiFi On/Off button, no LED On/Off button and only one USB 3.0 port. However, if I configure my router, a Trendnet TEW-827DRU, to use it for its DNS it does not work.
